Russian national Albert Morgan, 41, was arrested on suspicion of murder as soon as he touched back down in Russia.

Morgan allegedly “stalked” his ex-wife to Dubai, believing she had been working as a high-end escort while they were together.

He reportedly posed as a hotel guest, donned a robe stolen from the laundry room and persuaded an unassuming maid to let him into Anastasia’s room.

Morgan had originally planned to drench her in green paint and then use the scissors to cut off her hair.

However, things didn’t go to plan and a fight broke out between the pair.

Morgan then allegedly killed his ex-wife and quickly fled the scene.

According to investigators, Anastasia was later found by horrified hotel staff in a pool of her own blood.

She had at least 15 stab wounds to her neck, torso and limbs.

The 25-year-old worked for Russian airline Pobeda and was planning to work on private jets.

The pair were married for two years – it was only after they split Morgan read her private messages and decided to make the 2,700 mile round trip to the UAE.

He brought an accomplice with him – a bailiff from St. Petersburg.

This unnamed individual followed Anastasia from the hotel lobby to find out her room number.

Cops in Dubai were able to identify to Morgan from CCTV footage and quickly alerted Russian authorities.

They did not hesitate to slap him in handcuffs as soon as he landed back on Russian soil.

Once in custody, Morgan reportedly asked to be sent to fight for Russia in Ukraine.

This is a ploy many alleged Russian criminals have used to avoid prison time.

However, his request was denied after a judge ordered for him to be detained for at least two months as the investigation continues.

Morgan previously had domestic disputes with his ex-wife, but she withdrew all complaints against him.

He also spent seven years in prison on drugs charges, causing him to change his name to match the US banking giant.

The horrid ordeal follows claims that a Russian construction tycoon violently assaulted his former partner, leaving her with severe head injuries.

Dmitry Kuzmin, 42, is accused of inflicting “serious bodily harm” on 33-year-old glamour model Anzhelika Tartanova after she attempted to end their six-month relationship.

Friends allege the “controlling and jealous” businessman became violent when Tartanova told him she wanted to leave.

While Kuzmin is said to have showered her with expensive gifts and treated her “like a doll,” he allegedly cut her off from loved ones.

It is claimed Tartanova was beaten after telling him the relationship was over and then thrown into the street with serious head injuries.

She reportedly survived only after a passerby raised the alarm and called an ambulance.
